VSO DRIVES
The drive is the “driver of success”
The DIN agitator drive type VSO may be used for reactors with a nominal capacity of 1,600 liters or more. All parts of the VSO drive are easy to access - additional units can be easily attached. A coupling between the gear box and the agitator shaft provides for trouble-free, time-saving installation or removal of a mechanical seal to DIN without removing the gear box. The agitator remains in the reactor and is supported at the agitator flange during assembly.
The drive comprises the motor, belt drive, gear box and mechanical seal. By modifying the individual elements, a drive can be exactly matched to your individual needs.
When combined with Pfaudler mechanical seals, Pfaudler agitating systems are also available for use in potentially explosive atmospheres of zone 1, 2 or 3.

- The DIN agitator drives type VSO 1,2,3 are used for reactors with a nominal capacity of 63 to 1,000 liters. They are available in three designs and three performance ranges. Speed range up to 400 min-1

Standard agitator drive in compact design. The agitator and gear box are directly linked by a disc clutch. The drive support stool is based on the mechanical seal.

Design VSO 1/40,2/50,3/60
Drive support stool to DIN with gap for dismantling mechanical seal, with sleeve coupling; Agitator shaft diameter of 40 - 60 mm. Special designs are possible.

VS DRIVE
Drive for glass lined reactors Type E according to Pfaudler factory standard. The drive consists of a motor, belt drive, gear box, and mechanical seal.

VL DRIVE
The small “power station”
The VL drive for small reactors with a volume of max. 800 liters. The inline arrangement provides for a compact, space-saving design.
- Three power levels with maximum agitator speeds of 180 to 800 min-1
- Water lubrication available as special design
- VLH drives as special design for pressures up to 100 bar

HU DRIVE
The power “from below”
With Pfaudler bottom drives of the HU type, optimum speeds can be achieved even in large and high reactors used, e.g., in the field of polymerization. The design of the Pfaudler bottom drives ensures optimum operating reliability.
